Phoenix pusilla is ceylon date palm is a species of flowering plant in the palm family. It is native to southern India and Sri Lanka, they are found in lowlands, ridges and hills. It can grows upto 5 m tall. This species is usually single-stemmed but clumps do occur naturally.
