Lonicera japonica is a Evergreen Climber up to 5.00 metres tall. It is harvested from the wild for local use as a food, medicine and source of materials.

Blood pressure, Rheumatoid arthritis, Hepatitis, Respiratory tract infections, Dysentery, Skin diseases, Tumours, Bacterial dysentery, Colds, Enteritis, Swellings.[1]

How to plant/cultivate

Prefers a good moist soil with its roots in the shade and its top climbing into the light. Succeeds in any soil in part shade.[4]
