Svastikasana

Svastikasana [1] is an Asana. It is translated as Cross Pose from Sanskrit.

The name of this pose comes from "svastika" meaning "cross", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".

Benefits

  1. It helps open the inner hip and thigh muscles.
  2. Back of the shoulders.
  3. Promote the sense of balance.

Cautions

  • Be careful while doing this pose if you have ankle, knee or hip injuries, as well as shoulder injuries.
