Phoenix sylvestris - Kharjura
Kharjura is wild date palm is a very tall. It is fast-growing, unbranched, single-stemmed palm with recurving, plumose, glaucous fronds, growing 4 - 15 metres tall. Typically, the plant has a swollen base and retains the leaf bases on the trunk.

How to plant/cultivate
Seed - probably best sown as soon as it is ripe in containers, otherwise sow the seed as soon as you obtain it. Germination usually takes place within 2 - 3 months.[5]
