Tumour or Adenitis

Tumour may be defined as the abnormal growth of body cells. When formation of new cells exceeds the normal limit, it may lead to the formation of tumour. Tumour may occur in any part of the body. Normally there is controlled division and growth of cells but in certain situations cells grow abnormally and increased production of new cells lead to the formation of tumour. There is rapid division of the cells. Cancer may reduce the functioning of other parts of the body. Tumour may be benign or malignant. Adenitis is a condition in which lymph glands become inflamed. Lymph nodes are found in different parts of our body. There is proliferation of the lymph nodes that may cause inflammation of the lymph glands and produce adenitis. Infection from lymph glands may be transmitted to other parts of the body. Lymph is a liquid present in our body and it also helps in transporting different substances in our body. Inflammation may also be transmitted to other body parts through lymph. The main causative organism of adenitis is virus or bacteria. Inflammation of the lymph glands may cause tumour. Surgery is the only option for people suffering from adenitis. Body tumors may produce other signs and symptoms and affect the whole body.
