Prapadasana [1] is an Asana. It is translated as Tip Toe Pose from Sanskrit.
The name of this pose comes from "prapada" meaning "tips of the feet", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".
Benefits
- It promotes the sense of balance.
- Opens the inner hips and thighs.
- Stretches the quadraceps.
Cautions
- Be careful while doing this pose if you have ankle, knee or hip injuries.
