Parivrtta Ardha Chandrasana[1] is an Asana. It is translated as Revolved Half Moon Pose from Sanskrit. It is a twisting variation of Ardha Chandrasana.
The name of this pose comes from "parivrtta" meaning "revolved", "ardha" meaning "half", "chandra" meaning "moon", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".
- It promotes a sense of balance.
- Stimulates the internal organs.
- Stretches hamstrings and the outside of the thighs.
Cautions
- Be careful while doing this pose if you have any spinal injuries, high blood pressure, hamstring injuries, or ankle injuries.
