Kraunchasana[1] is an Asana. It is translated as Heron Pose from Sanskrit. The name of this pose comes from "krauncha" meaning "heron", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".
Benefits
- This pose stretches the hamstrings
- Lower back and ankles
- It also improves core stability.
Cautions
- Be careful while doing this pose if you have any knee, ankle or hamstring injuries.
