Eka Pada Galavasana [1] is an Asana. It is translated as Pose Dedicated to Galava - One Legged Variation from Sanskrit. The name of this pose comes from "eka" meaning "one", "pada" meaning "leg", "Galava" in reference to a Hindu Sage, and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".

- Opens up the inside of the thighs and hips and glutes.
Cautions
- Be careful while doing this pose if you have any wrist, elbow, shoulder, lower back, or hip injuries.
