Sauropus androgynus is a botanical name of Multivitamin Plant. It is commonly known as Katuk, star gooseberry and sweat leaf. Malaysia is the home town of Katuk. Katuk has very useful plant which is used in food and it contains many health benifitory factors. Hence it is called as Multivitamin Plant.

Plant Discription
Star gooseberry is a multiusable shrub, which grow around about 2 to 3.5 c.m height. Its multiple upright stems can reach 2.5 meters high and bear dark green oval leaves 5–6 cm long.

Medicinal Uses
- Lack of Vitamins - The person who sefers from low vitamins in a body, by consuming raw katuk leaves every day or adding a spoon of honey to the two spoon of katuk leaves juice and consuming it in the empty stomach, in every morning will give a good result.
- Katuk is also used for coocking purposes.
