Amrutha balli or Tinospora cordifolia, which is known by the common names heart-leaved moonseed,guduchi and giloy, is an herbaceous vine of the family Menispermaceae indigenous to the tropical areas of India, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.
Traditional medicine
- In Ayurvedic medicine, Tinospora cordifolia is known as “Guduchi” and is considered to be one of the most divine herbs.
- This herb is used to cure for Gout, Pile, general debility, fever, Jaundice .
