Hasta Padasana 1 is an Asana. It is translated as Hands to Foot Pose 1 from Sanskrit.

The name of this pose comes from "hasta" meaning "hand", "pada" meaning "foot", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".


Benefits

  2. Creates a sense of balance
  3. Stretches the lower back.


Cautions

  • Be careful while doing this pose of you have ankle, knee, hip, lower back injuries.
