Baddha Natarajasana is an Asana. It is translated as Bound Lord of Dance Pose from Sanskrit. The name of this pose comes from "baddha" meaning "bound", "Nataraja" meaning "Lord of Dance", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".


Benefits

  1. It opens the inner thighs and hips
  2. Stretches the front of the thigh
  3. Strengthens the neck and legs
  4. Stretches the lower back.


Cautions

  • Be careful while doing this pose if you have any knee, hip, lower back or neck injuries. Do not do if pregnant.
