Tittibhasana

Tittibhasana [1] is an Asana. It is translated as Insect Pose or Firefly Pose from Sanskrit.

The name of this pose comes from "tittibha" meaning "small insect", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".

Benefits

  1. Strengthens wrists, arms and shoulders.
  2. Promotes a sense of balance.
  3. Stretches inner thigh muscles and hamstrings.
