It contains the essential oil isolated from the leaves and fruit peels of Mangifera indica L. by hydro distillation was analyzed by combined GC and GC/MS. The leaves of M. indica were rich in sesquiterpenes, while fruit peel oil consisted of very high amount of monoterpenes. The dominant compounds in mango leaf oil were δ-3-carene, α-gurjunene, β-selinene and β-caryophyllene, while fruit peel oil yielded mainly δ-3-carene and α-pinene.<ref name="chemical composition"/>
