Ākārakarabha consists of dried roots of Anacyclus pyrethrum. It is an annual, hairy herb with numerous spreading prostrate or ascending branched stems.

Uses

Hiccoughs, Epilepsy, Headache, Pains, Muscle relaxant, Worm infestation, Common cold.

Chemical Composition

The plant is a natural pesticide and also shows antimicrobial properties. This study is based on phytochemistry and medicinal properties of the plant with main concern on employing new scientific tools for its mass production and protection.[1]

How to plant/cultivate

Landscape Uses:Alpine garden, Rock garden. Requires a well-drained soil in full sun. Plants are intolerant of excessive wet, especially in the winter, and will do better if covered by a pane of glass in the winter. [3]
