Chemical Composition

The preliminary phytochemical analysis of Tamarix ericoides Rottl showed the presence of alkaloids, glycosides, tannins, saponins and phytosterols. That plant has various medicinal uses and can be used in diabetes, paralysis, anti-dermatosis, stomach disorder, painful urination.[2]
