[[Triphala]] is an example of a classic Ayurvedic formula, used for thousands of years that is made from the powders of three fruits Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), [[Haritaki]] (Terminalia chebula) and [[Bibhitaki]] (Terminalia belerica).
==General Descripition==*Drugs according to the formulation composition of the particular churna are collected, dried, powdered individually and passed through sieve number 85 to prepare a fine powder. *They are mixed in the specified proportion and stored in well closed container. The term cūr´a may be applied to the powder prepared by a single drug or acombination of more drugs.*Raja and Kshoda are the synonyms for churna. Churnas may be of plant origin, or mixed with other ingredients.
