Aloe Vera

Pyrola rotundifolia is a Evergreen Perennial up to 0.25 metres tall. It is harvested from the wild for local use as a medicine and source of materials.

How to plant/cultivate

Prefers a moist sandy woodland soil. In a cool position with partial shade. Requires a peaty or leafy but not very acid soil that remains moist in the summer.[4]

Commonly seen growing in areas

Especially beech woods, Often on limestone.
