Prakriti
Prakriti or Prakruti (from Sanskrit language प्रकृति, prakṛiti), means "nature". It is a key concept in Hinduism, formulated by its Samkhya school, and refers to the primal matter with three different innate qualities (Guṇas) whose equilibrium is the basis of all observed empirical reality.[1]
Gunas Of Prakriti
Everything within Prakriti, the illusionary world, consists of three gunas (qualities). These three qualities are present in all objects in various degrees, one quality is always more present or dominant then the others. The three gunas are Sattva (purity), Rajas (activity) and Tamas (darkness, destruction).[2]
Prakriti and Lifestyle
Prakritiand life-styleare natural phenomena as well as oc-cur essentially. All the physiological pro-cess are directly controlled by Vata-Pitta and Kapha and Mansika Doshas (func-tional psychic factors) thus by the predom-inant Dosha is a particular type of Prakriti.[3]
