Plectranthus mollis

Plectranthus mollis is an erect, succulent annual plant growing 30 - 50cm tall. The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a food, medicine and insect repellant.

Uses

Haemorrhages, Rheumatism, Mental retardation, Skin conditions, Snakebites, Bleeding, Fever, Cancer, Trauma.[1]

Leaves.

Chemical Composition

The main compound was identified as fenchone, followed by α-humulene, piperitenone oxide, cis-piperitone oxide and E-β-farnesene etc.[2]
