Vatayanasana is an Asana. It is translated as Horse Pose from Sanskrit.

The name of this pose comes from "vatayana" meaning "horse", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".

Benefits and Cautions

This pose has many benefits: it helps open the inner hip and thigh muscles, back of the shoulders, and promote the sense of balance.

Be careful while doing this pose if you have ankle, knee or hip injuries, as well as shoulder injuries.
