==Method of preparation==
*Take all ingredients of pharmacopoeial quality.
*Treat Gh¤ta Ghṛta to prepare m£rcchita Gh¤ta (Appendix 6.2.9.2)mūrcchita Ghṛta.*Wash, clean, dry the ingredients numbered 1 to 11 of the formulation composition, powder separately and pass through 355 I.S. sieve (sieve number 44) (kv¡tha kvātha dravya).*Add water for decoction to the kv¡tha kvātha dravya and soak for four hours, heat and reduce the volume to one-eighth. Filter through muslin cloth to obtain kv¡thakvātha.
*Strain the Godugdha through muslin cloth.
*Wash, clean, dry the ingredients numbered 17, 18 and 20 to 24 of the Formulation
*Composition, powder separately and pass through 180 I.S. sieve (sieve number 85) to obtain fine powder. Roast coarsely powdered Saindhava Lava¸a Lavaṇa in a stainless steel pan on low flame till free from moisture, powder and pass through 180 I.S. sieve (sieve number 85) ([[Kalka ]] dravya).

*A greenish yellow coloured, soft, low-melting medicated fat, unctuous to touch with a pleasant odour and astringent taste.
==Storage==
*Store in a cool place in tightly closed containers, protected from light and moisture.

*Viḍvibandha, (Constipation) Udara, (Urticaria), Gulma, (Abdominal lump), Plīhā roga, (Splenic diseases), Vidradhi (Abcess), Śopha (Oedema), Yonisula (Pain in female genital tract), Arśa (Piles), Vṛddhi (Hydrocoele), Vātavyādhi (Diseases due to vata dosha), Vātarakta (Gout).

*6 - 12 g per day in divided doses with warm water /milk.
