Mulabandhasana

Mulabhandasana [1] is an Asana. It is translated as Root Lock Pose from Sanskrit. The name of this pose comes from "mula bhanda" meaning "root lock", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".

Benefits

  1. Stretches the knees and inner ankles
  2. Opens the inside of the hips and thighs.

Cautions

  • Be careful while doing this pose if you have any ankle, knee or hip injuries.
