Lavandula stoechas is an evergreen shrub that can grow up to 0.75 metres tall. It is harvested from the wild for local use as a medicine and source of materials.

Seeds, Cuttings of half-ripe wood, Layering.

How to plant/cultivate

Succeeds in almost any soil so long as it is well-drained and not too acid. Prefers a sunny position in a neutral to alkaline soil.[4]

Dry hills, Garigue woods, Open woods, Granite soils.
