==How to plant/cultivate==
A plant of tropical areas, where it is found at elevations up to 1,000 metres. It grows best in areas where the mean minimum temperature does not fall below 20°c, and the mean maximum is no higher than 35°c, though it can tolerate a low down to 4°c and maximum to 47°c<ref name="How to plant/cultivate"/>
