Yashthi consists of dried, unpeeled, stolon and root of Glycyrrhiza glabra Linn, (Fam. Leguminosae) , a tall perennial herb, upto 2 m high found cultivated in Europe. Persia, Afghanistan and to little extent in some parts of India.[1]
