Alamoola, Anisomeles malabarica

Malabar catmint is an aromatic, perennial plant with woolly stems, growing from 50 - 150cm tall. The stems often become woody and persist. The plant is harvested from the wild for local use in traditional medicine.

How to plant/cultivate

A plant of the lowland tropics, growing in areas where there are distinct wet and dry seasons, flowering in the rainy season. Grows well in open, sandy waste locations.[3]
