Phoenix paludosa
Phoenix paludosa is an evergreen, clustering palm forming a clump of slender stems up to 5 metres tall. The tree is harvested from the wild for local use as a source of food and materials.

Chemical Composition
It contains Lupeol (1), epilupeol (2) and β-sitosterol (3) were isolated from the n-hexane and the carbon tetrachloride soluble fraction of a methanol extract of the leaves of Phoenix paludosa Roxb.[2]
