Trigonella corniculata

Trigonella corniculata is a small, erect to creeping, annual plant. The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a food and a medicine. It is a traditional garden crop in India, grown as a pot-herb and a spice.

Uses

Swellings, Bruises, Diabetes, Hypercholesterolemia.[1]

Parts Used

Young leaves, Stem tips.

Chemical Composition

In addition, its main chemical compounds are saponins, coumarin, fenugreekine, nicotinic acid, phytic acid, scopoletin and trigonelline31.[2]
