Picrorhiza scrophulariaeflora
Picrorhiza scrophulariiflora is a perennial plant that can grow up to 0.12 metres tall. It is harvested from the wild for local use as a medicine.
Uses
Fever, Constipation, Dyspepsia, Jaundice, Scorpion stings, Snake bites, Dronchial asthma, Psoriasis, Vitiligo.[1]

It contains Bitter cucurbitacin glycoside was isolated together with three known iridoidal glycosides, amphicoside etc.[2]

How to plant/cultivate
We have very little information on this species and do not know if it will be hardy in Britain. However, judging by its native range, it is likely to succeed outdoors at least in the milder areas of the country.[4]
