Maṇḍūra

General Descripition

These preparations containing Śodhita Maṇḍūra along with other drugs.

Method of preparation

Maṇḍūra is purified buy special method and boiled in Gomūtra till it becomes like rasakriy ā(paste). The powders mentioned in respective yogas are to be added to the paste and stirred well to prepare a homogenous blend. the blend may be rolled in to Vaṭakas or may dispensed in powder form.

Characteristics

• These emit strong smell of Gomūtra and are dark in colour.

Preservation

• These preserve their potency for ten years. These should be kept away from the moisture.
