Jateorhiza palmata
Jateorhiza palmata is a dioecious, climbing shrub producing usually perennial woody stems from 2 - 5 metres long from a tuberous rootstock. In some areas, such as Mozambique, the stems can be annual The tuber is gathered from the wild for local medicinal use.
