Sahasrara Chakra is represented by a lotus having thousand petals - and hence the name sahasrara. It is believed to be situated at the very top of the head. This is the place of culmination of the kundalini power, the seat of higher awareness and is physically connected with pituitary gland and life system in the body.[1]
