Chemical Composition
Seeds—hepatotoxic. Seed oil gave fatty acids—linoleic, linolenic and oleic. Pyrrolizidine alkaloids—junceine, tricodesmine, riddelline, seneciphylline and senecionine were also obtained.[1]

How to plant/cultivate
Sunn hemp is often cultivated in the dry to moist tropics and subtropics, where it can be grown at elevations up to 1,500 metres. It grows best in areas where annual daytime temperatures are within the range 20 - 30°c, but can tolerate 4 - 40°c.[3]
