Method of preparation
- Take all ingredients of pharmacopoeial quality.
- Treat Kaashisha to get Kaashisha - shuddha.
- Treat Hingu to get Hingu - shuddha.
- Treat Tankana to get Tankana - shuddha.
- Wash and clean fresh Kumari and separate the pulp to obtain Kumari svarasa.
- Dissolve the Kanyasara in Kumari svarasa.[1]
Description
- Blackish grey coloured pills with a characteristic asafoetida odour and saline taste.
Storage
- Store in a cool place in tightly closed containers, protected from light and moisture.
Therapeutic uses
- Rajorodha (obstructed menstrual flow), Kastartava (dysmenorrhoea), artavavedaa (dysmenorrhoea).
Dose
- 500 mg - 1 g per day in divided doses with Warm water/ Tila kvatha/Kulattha kvatha.
