Four Chapters on Freedom is a commentary on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. It is first published in 1976 by Bihar School of Yoga later republished in 2000 by Yoga Publications Trust, Munger, Bihar.
This is a commentary on 196 Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, divided into four chapters as;
- Samadhi Pada - 51
- Sadhana Pada - 55
- Vibhooti Pada - 56
- Kaivalya Pada - 34
Each Sutra (verse) is written both in Sanskrit and English letters with its meaning and detailed explanation in English.
