Saireyaka, Adenanthera pavonina

Saireyaka is an erect, glabrous, evergreen shrub. It grows up to 1.7 metres tall from a central taproot. The plant has a single stem according to one report. The base of the leaves is armed with three to five sharp, pale coloured spines, 10-20 mm long.
