Wild strawberry, Fragaria vesca

Wild strawberry is a perennial herbaceous plant in the rose family that grows naturally throughout much of the Northern Hemisphere, and that produces edible fruits.

Uses

Diarrhea, Gastroenteritis, Hemorrhoids, Sore throat, Mouth ulcers, Minor burns, Cuts, Scrapes.

Parts Used

Leaves, Roots.

Chemical Composition

Fatty acids are the most important precursors for most fruit aroma volatiles, including straight-chain aldehydes, alcohols, esters, lactones and ketones[1]
