Indukaanta Ghrta I is a medicated preparation made with the ingredients in Formulation composition given below, with Gh¤ta as basic ingredient.
Formulation composition
Method of preparation
- Take all ingredients of pharmacopoeial quality.
- Wash, clean and dry the ingredients numbered 1 to 12 of the formulation composition, powder separately and pass through sieve number 44 (Kvatha Dravya).
- Wash, clean, dry the ingredients numbered 16 to 21 of the formulation composition, powder separately and pass through sieve number 85 (Kalka Dravyas).
- Add water for decoction to the Kvatha Dravyas and soak for four hours, heat and reduce the volume to one-fourth. Filter with muslin cloth to obtain Kvatha.
- Transfer the Kalka Dravyas to the wet grinder and grind with sufficient quantity of water to prepare homogeneous blend.[1]
