तदा द्रष्टुः स्वरूपेऽवस्थानम् ॥३॥
tadā draṣṭuḥ svarūpe-'vasthānam ॥3॥
tadā:then; draṣṭuḥ:seer; svarūpe:one's own essential nature; avasthānam:establishment
- Then the seer is established (abides) in his own essential nature.
Self realization can only take place when the chitta vrittis cease their activity, when the mind or chitta is no longer affected by the play of the three gunas and sensory organs, and one doesn't feel the necessity to identify himself or herself with the objective world.
