Elephantopus scaber contains the following compounds Deoxyelephantopin (DET) and Isodeoxyelephantopin (isoDET) can be isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of ES leaves (10). Several compounds that have also been isolated from ES, such as deoxyelephantopin, 11,13, dihydrodeoxy-GSC Biological and Pharmaceutical Sciences.<ref name="chemical composition"/>
