The green, apigenin, luteolin, quercetin, kaempferol, tiliroside, triterpene glycosides including euscapic acid and tormentic acid, phenolic acids, and 3%–21% tanninsunripe fruits contain twice the amount of Vitamin C than the ripe fruits.<ref name="chemical composition"/>
