Pergularia extensa

Pergularia extensa is the trellis-vine. It is a hispid, perennial vine in the family Apocynaceae. It is native to the Old World tropics and subtropics. It has been used traditionally to treat a number of ailments.

Uses

Diarrhea, Cough, Asthma, Rheumatism, Bronchitis, Skin condition, Piles, Liver disorder, Uterus related problems.

Parts Used

Fruits, Leaves.

Chemical Composition

It contains some bio-active compounds such as alkaloids, triterpenes (lupeol), saponins, steroidal compounds.[1]
