Bhustrina, Cymbopogon, lemongrass

Bhustrina better known as lemongrass is a genus of Asian, African, Australian and tropical island plants in the grass family.

Uses

Sore throats, Cough, Cold, Anxiety, High cholesterol, Digestion, Rough, Kidney detoxification.

Parts Used

Leaves, Stem.

Chemical Composition

Lemon grass oil are nerol, limonene, linalool and beta-caryphyllene. The content of myrcene is low, but still enough to make the oil susceptible to oxidative polymerization[1]
