तस्य वाचकः प्रणवः ॥२७॥
tasya vāchakaḥ praṇavaḥ ॥27॥

- vāchakaḥ: designator, indicator
- praṇavaḥ: Aum or OM
- Aum is the word denoting God.
Pranava is verily Ishwara - The sacred word designating this creative source is the sound OM, called pranava.
AUM is vibrant, is full of vibrational force, quality along with other meanings, one of which is as a designator to denote the pure consciousness. The word pranavah literally translates as "humming".
