Viparita Virabhadrasana

Viparita Virabhadrasana is an Asana. It is translated as Reversed Warrior Pose from Sanskrit. The name of this pose comes from "viparita" meaning "reversed, inverted", "virabhadra" meaning "legendary warrior", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".

Benefits and Cautions

This pose has many benefits: it strengthens the leg muscles, opens up the chest, promotes spinal flexibility.

Be careful white doing this pose if you have knee, ankle, spinal injuries or severe high blood pressure.
