Ayurwiki.org is a project to document all things Ayurveda - the herbs, ayurvedic medicine, ayurvedic products, drug manufacturers, the practices, the FAQs and all related documentation.

Presently, there are 4,304 entries in this project.

This project is still in the initial stages and we welcome volunteers who're interested in helping build the project.

Sahadevi, Cyanthillium cinereum

Sahadevi is an Erect, Branching and Annual plant. It grows upto 15 - 80cm tall. The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a food and medicine.

Uses: Wound healing, Renal calculi, Burning micturition, Insomnia, Skin diseases, Intestinal worms.

Chemical Composition: It contains Caryophyllene oxide (16.7 %) was the major compound followed by n-hexadecanoic acid (8.9 %) and phytol etc.
