Description

Family: Ascepiadaceae Local name(Telugu) Kakkupala/Mekameyyani aaku Distribution:Common over bushes and hedges in tropical India. Much branched climbing shrubs with fleshy roots, Leaves ovate elliptic, base cordate, pubescent, flowers 1 to 1.2cm across, yellow with purple inside, in lateral compound umbels.

Leaf is used for the treatment of Asthma.
