Parivrtta Parsvakonasana[1] is an Asana. It is translated as Revolved Side Angle Pose from Sanskrit.

The name of this pose comes from "parivrtta" meaning "revolved", "parsva" meaning "side", "kona" meaning "angle" , and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".

Benefits

  2. Stimulating of the internal organs.
  3. Strengthening of the back.
  4. Releasing the tension in the spine and building a sense of balance.
